Debborah Crowe

Debborah Crowe, born  in year 1963 raised in Dundee scotland, an artist  at MSVA,  from scotland,Crowe's practice is based on acetechture  work.during  her artist talk, she  presented us of work she has done, art piece made out of fabrication, with technique of  weaving and turns. amd textiles, however it is often manisests in variety  of contexts and out put.During her practice she has done alsot of drawings through the body, whih she has interests of and creating distorted imagesof the body in a positive way, which is similar to emma Mclellan's work of mustation of animals.Drawing is really important to her practice, Debborah woud observe the body , planning is an aspect through her work. What i think of her work, it is  very  complex, way  through a graphical  view. Debborah uses allot of environmental space when creating her art works,

If you look more closely  to the fabric, you can see  every detail and how much time and effort  she had to accomplish   these three  woven pieces . i really admire the time spent with these beautiful works, would be nice to wear for women's  fashion industry, im sure Lady Gaga would love to wear this for her music videos.
I love  how the colour of the fabric is a nice dark /light colour grey, it gives that really nice strong look to it which i like about this piece.

Debborah's work through architecture , i see that she uses allot  of computer graphic aspect and plannings through drawings,  she also uses allot of bridges and environment space and  recycled materials to create her work, it is interesting   of her to use recycled materials , but to thionk of it many artists uses recycles  pieces to create   art, for example, Dion Hitchens, his work of the installation of ther recycled paper, cardboard .  but still debborah's work has given me inspiration  to creat my own work and try incorperate    style and ideas.

  1. Thanks Ronald,

That was actually Bill Riley who used the recycled cardboard, not Dion, but it was a fair comment to make. Don't forget, you can use spell check!
